Thy Kingdom Come brings together Christians from around the world to pray over an 11 day period at the end of May between Ascension and Pentecost.
Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.
Following the wonderful engagement last year, this year we have decided to run a series of prayer initiatives again together as churches in Farnham from Thursday 13th May to Sunday 23rd May 2021, further details are available here: www.fcct.support/tkc.
We will again be producing daily video devotionals focused on the content of the TKC booklet, and also looking more locally at the prayer needs in Farnham. Each day a different church leader will be presenting a scripture, devotion and prayer points lasting approximately 4-5 minutes.
At 4pm on Sunday 23rd we shall be running a prayer event in two parts; In Person OUTSIDE in St Andrews Churchyard for up to 150 people (individuals and families), socially distanced; and Online for people to watch at home (this will not be a hosted Zoom session) to which we hope to gather people in prayer and worship from all around Farnham.
